The war between Russia and Ukraine started because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants to join NATO.
In my eyes, that is so funny and crazy as well. Let me explain.
There is nothing good about inviting the United States or NATO to Ukraine. Japan has had U.S. military bases on its land for a long time. We want to remove them because it is horrible to have foreign soldiers in one's country.
American soldiers stationed in Japan have been raping and / or killing Japanese girls including little ones as well as little boys constantly all the year around since they first came to Japan. The situation is especially bad in Okinawa, a prefecture located on the south edge of Japan.
In 1955 a 31-year-old U.S. soldier named Isaac Jackson Hurt abducted and then brutally raped and killed a six-year-old girl named Yumiko Nagayama. (Read this article.)
In 1995 two U.S. marines and one U.S. Navy soldier abducted a schoolgirl aged only 12 and brutally raped her. (Read this article.) These were not the only incidents that happened in Japan. There have been many more like them.

Japanese citizens protest against the United States. The banner says that they condemn the rape of the little girl by the United States soldiers and that they demand the abolition of the military alliance between the United States and Japan and the removal of the United States military bases.
Note: The military alliance between the United States and Japan is called "The Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between the United States and Japan."
For example, in 2016, a 32-year-old former U.S. marine, who continued to work at a U.S. military base in Okinawa under the protection of the U.S. military, attacked a 20-year-old Japanese woman who was exercising outdoors. He stabbed her neck several times in an attempt to abduct and rape her. After he killed her, he put her body in a suitcase and hid it in a mountain.
This man maintained that he had always wanted to abduct and rape women since he was in high school and that he could not believe that he had been arrested for that. He also said that the woman he killed was unlucky, blaming his criminal act on luck.
However, Japan managed to send him to prison on the basis that he committed the crime during his off-duty hours. Otherwise, we might not have been able to prosecute him.
Do Ukrainians want this kind of people in their country? Are they out of their mind?
We Japanese do not want any American soldiers on our land, and we want to remove their military bases from Japan. However, the U.S. government refuses to do so by threatening the Japanese government in a way disclosed to the public.

Eighty-five thousand Japanese citizens gathered in 1995 to protest against the United States to condemn the rape of the little girl by the United States soldiers.
The United States forces us to pay a huge amount of money to pay their military resources. In short, they are in Japan with our money though we do not want them here. They probably use that money to fight in other areas of the world. They probably send Ukraine weapons they bought with the money that they took from Japanese.
In addition, the United States makes a list of requests every year in an attempt to make Japan into a convenient country to them. That is out-and-out violation of state sovereignty and self-determination.
If Ukraine joins any military alliance sponsored by the United States or any other country for that matter, the same things will probably happen to Ukrainians as well.
So, I think that Ukrainians should not join any military alliance.
